I wave at every vette that I see. The problem that as I see it is that on the interstate, which I drive , it is almost imposible to see the other vette at a closure rate of 140mph +. I have posted this before. Personal FM radios. FMS, tune to ch 6 and we can wave over the radio. I was following a C5 Black Coupe Friday on I57 south of Effingham, IL and I would have loved to be able to talk to the driver. We use all the most update tech for our vetts yet we resort to the wave to say hello. Lets start a talk on the FM radio. You can buy one almost anywhere very cheep.

The last thing I want when I'm tooling down the hwy minding my own business is someone I don't know (even if he/she is a fellow Vette driver) gabbing at me.

The concept is nice however, I question the safety and feasibility. With the convertible, the tunes are up and might not hear it. I have missed cell phone calls while driving.

Really not impossible. I'm on the interstate quite a bit. What I like about the C6 is I can flash my headlights at Vettes in the opposing lanes of a divided interstate.

I like the idea. It reminds me of the old CB radio days when you could chat with other motorists. Of course that idea got out of hand quickly, and died. Today many Corvette drivers own hand held radios for use on cruises, so why not use them to communicate with Corvette drivers at other times? You may be on to something!
