XM Receiver
Since that horse has already left the barn, you can certainly get XM installed, but now you will have to have a couple of additional items put in. First, you'll need an antenna, which will now be external instead of the internal antenna that would have come with the factory unit. The only place you can put an external antenna on the C6 is where the antenna went on the 2005 model - on the bar between the roof panel and the back glass (your wire will most likely tuck into the crack where the glass meets the bar). You'll also need a receiver box stashed somewhere in the car and a display unit to show the programming, controls, etc. Given the nature of the C6 dash, I have no idea where you'll put the display unit - maybe some kind of arm glued or attached to the dash? The stock stereo will have to be pulled and all the wiring done. There might also be a "transmitter" type XM system that doesn't require wiring - it just broadcasts the signal to a station on the radio. Anyway, it will run you about $150-$200 for the stuff and about that for an install (unless you get a free deal at Besy Buy or something?).
