Default Help! Question about Interior Upgrade Kit

I'm thinking of purchasing this kit for my 07 vert, with a power top, and F55 option(selective ride control). I was wondering... would it work on my car? Every kit that I have seen, has no opening for the ****, of the ride control. What happens to the console piece? Does it come in two pieces? If I have the F55 option, I just don't use that piece of the console? Does it have to be cut or does it just come as a seperate piece?

Thanks in advance!

If you are talking about the factory painted (or fake carbon-fibre) console kit, then it comes with an easily removable painted piece where your F55 switch will be (in fact, you must remove the piece while installing it since the bolts are behind it). Since there is no hole, you just keep the silver piece that has the control ****.

(I have not seen an F55 piece, but if it is like the old F45 **** on the C5, then it is integrated with the molding and you can not remove the switch separately, hence why the kit tells you to keep the factory piece there).

I am not sure what this would all look like installed (silver insert in the colored console). You could always carefully mask and paint around the ****.

I just installed my Monterey Red console, and it looks great.

Thanks Monty Red! I just didn't understand, if the piece that goes over the F55 option, was a one-piece. Now, as I understand it, when I buy this kit in machine silver, I can un-bolt that piece(silver) and the **** and the stock housing will show. The silver piece I remove, I just don't use it!

Thanks for you help!
