Default Dash kit

Had a neighbor drop by showing off his new wide body kit. Inside, he had the GM color match (MR) dash, only the dash, not the pods. Looked real good. Decided I want to do the same. Went by the dealer, they were clueless about the GM accessories. Anyone have the part number for this item for MR? Also, is the trim molded in color or painted?

While at the dealer they suggested I could pull the trim off the steering wheel and they could paint them to match as well. My concern would be the painted pieces holding up as a daily driver.

Start with Gene at GM Parts house (gmpartshouse.com)

http://www.gmpartshouse.com/

From the left side of the page you can download the complete GCA (Genuine Corvette Accessories) catalog. Print out two (one for you and one for your dealer) that will help them come up to speed.

Send him an email for the dash kit. I'm not finding it right away on the website.

Two suggestions

1. Contact a local body shop or specialty paint shop that does custom work see what they'll charge for painting the original parts from your car.

I had mine done along with the door button bezel and under hood part for around $500

2. Contact Gene

Thanks, everyone, just what I needed. All the pictures are great. I'll post mine when it is done. Only going to do the section over the console, not the dash pods. Considered painting the two bits on the steering wheel, but decided as a daily driver it was not likely to hold up. I could see those pieces being scratched, chipped and scared over time.

Bring them up to speed, sad but true. I have the accessories brochure that the dealer gave me, I'll give it back to them with the page highlighted..
