Anyone know why my side view mirrors will not stay set in the memory. I have a 2005 and this started when I had to jump my car after storing it for the season. all the other settings work correctly when I push the memory button. It is getting old having to reset the mirrors everytime I want to drive it.

Thanks for any help
I have had/now have that problem. My car is a 05 6spd with DBS problems.
If your problem is like mine, everytime I shut off car the mirrors go to the full down position. Yes I know how to set memory features, its more than that.
That happened after my first DBS attack. I tried evertihng I could think of, had no luck. The dealer did something with the computer and it was fine for 18 months. Now it just happened again (mirrors) after a DBS attack. Bringing my car in tomorrow(Monday) for the DBS reflash and getting the mirrors to work right. The S.A remembered my car from the first mirror incident and said they know what to do. Hopefully its something that can be done at home, but I doubt it.
HOPEFULLY AFTER TOMORROW DBS IS JUST A BAD MEMORY FOR ME!!!!
We took a long ride yesterday and I had to wait a bit for the wife so I tried a few more thing AND I GOT THE MIRRORS WORKING OK.
This is what I did. All other setting were ok for memory, but mirrors.
# After getting in car and pushing memory button (Have 6spd manual)I then reset mirrors to driving position.
#2 Shutdown car and opened door. that moved seat to exit position and MIRRORS went to full down (O SH**)
#3 used mirror controls and RESET MIRRORS to where they belonged for driving. Then pushed and held middle memory button till the 2 beeps sounded
#4 Started car up, pushed memory button and all was well
#5 shutdown car and opened door, DRIVERS mirror stayed where I wanted it, passangers went down (O SH**)
#6 reset pass. mirror to normal driving position and hit middle memory button
#7 pushed memory button to move things to normal driving position.
Have been in and out of the car now about 6 time since doing #6 and all is working well.
Just got back from dealer after getting DBS flash, ALL MEMORY SETTING WERE FINE
Will give a DBS report in future post

Not sure about this, but something to try. Many of the positioners on the C6 require recalibration after certain events. The purpose of this is to calibrate the position sensors relative to the physical limits of movement. I know this applies to the seats and windows, it may apply to the mirrors also.
This is done by moving the motor to its physical limits in each direction, often by pressing the button a couple more times after it stops moving. Sort of like recalibrating the windows.
