I had DBS 4 times before the dealer found out that it was an open headlamp module that was draining the battery. No IPOD, either. They also replaced the battery because afetr 4 times, it's usually shot.
I too have an ipod i use with a charging cradle in the cig lighter /and or accessory plug underneath center console.
Power is supplied to these two receptacles Constantly even if the car is off and doors are closed. I found this out the hard way as my radar detector was on when I opened the car door the next morning
It will definately cause your battery to drain in 2 days time easily. Good luck and unplug unplug unplug!!!
The lighter plug in the ash receiver/coin holder () is switched so it should not be the culprit. The console accessory plug is NOT switched, however and the LED will drain the battery - I know from experience .

There is a PI on this. You may want to see your dealer. #PIC4188D

I would guess that drawing 1 amp/hr or so would be more than these accessories need. They must be preventing the car from shutting down, and causing a 'DBS' like effect.
