Like someone posted before a lot of the forum members engine bays are similar since we seem to purchase products from the same vendors. However, that being said every engine bay I have seen is different because each owner has personalized theirs as well.
Nice engine bay ZPirate!, but who's Jimmy.
I really like the silver engine caps with red writing.
Sorry Jeremy I was getting you and C6 Rocket (Jimmy) confused. My apologies. That is what I get for trying to multi task.
Thanks for the compliments on mine too. My caps and battery cover also came from Ed. Ed suggested I use the silver painted caps with red lettering to contrast with my red covers when I told him I was painting them red. He was dead on in my opinion.

No problem John, nice job on all the painted parts.
What did you use to get your engine compartment so clean?
Jimmy
My engine bay wasn't really that dirty when I started, it was just dusty from driving. I started by using a shop vac with a thin hose to suck out any sand that was deep in the engine. I then went over everything with a wet and dry towel. After that I wiped down all the plastic parts with Zaino Z-6 detail spray. I finished by spraying all the hoses with Stoner's Trim Shine, I really like this stuff because you just spray it on and walk away.

Good tip on the trim shine. I will have to get some and try that.
