Eckler's I-Pod interface
Anyone have or is familiar with Ecklers IPod interface for the C6. It says it works with the 05-07 with factory XM, doesn't mention the Nav radio just must have XM, wondering if anyone has tried this unit.

I use the USA Spec PA11-Vette Ipod interface for the Corvette. It looks nearly Identical to the one you mention above and it works and sounds great.

I thought the GM version was supposed to have been out months ago???? I've heard the USA type is a bit buggy, is this the case?

I would find out who makes their unit. I have heard good things about the USA-Spec unit. The stereo store I went to did not have the USA-Spec unit and sold me a Peripheral unit. It too, looks like this unit, a small black box.
However, I am not at all happy with the unit. It will not display song or artist. The steering wheel controls will only allow you to select the next song in the list. When the IPod is plugged in, the XM is completely disabled.
I have had two units installed to correct these complaints but so for no improvement.
I may ditch this unit for one that will display song title and artist. Improved playlist selection would be nice.

Rented a cheesy Cheby Cobalt today. It comes with an Aux/IPOD jack in the stock stereo. Stock stereo has a sub in the trunk and pillar mounted tweeters in the front. Sounds 1000% better than the "premium" blose in the vette AND is IPOD compatible with a $6 cable from radio shack. Fr*ggin amazing. Why can't my d*mn flagship Cheby have the same functionality??!!! What a bunch of morons...

In addition it has a pretty good sounding sub and tweeters mounted in the correct locations.
