Same steering wheel for 08

Looks from pictures and write up that the 08 car will have the same steering wheel as the 07. That will make the first time in the C6 era that a steering wheel change won't be occuring.

Didn't realize it changed from 06 to 07 other than optional radio controls on one side of the steering wheel. Am I missing something?

Several reports are showing major defects with steering wheel wiring. Already 08's are being discounted as many lemons are rolling off the line having to immediately be sent to the shop.

Uh....08s do not start production until June 26th or 28th (can't remember). Nice try.

Optional radio controls is a change.

The only thing I wish were different about my 07 wheel is the audio controls. I wish they were on the other side.

Put the radio controls on the left and cruise controls on the right, just like GM does on some of the Pontiacs with this same steering wheel and get rid of that stalk mounted cruise switch from the 80's. Why have the radio controls on the steering wheel within inches of the radio ****? Doesn't make much sense.
