Default Run flat problems

I have an 06 with less than 3000 miles.
I just hit a rounded traffic button at less than 35mph and popped BOTH the lefts. No bs about the obstacle or the speed. Does this make any sense? (I have done a LOT worse in previous vehicles with little or no damage). Any recourse to Chevrolet in your opinion?

Thanks,

I took a chunk of metal in my right front tire 9 days after picking up my car. Spilt the contact area between the sidewall and the tread, not repairable.

Today I got the tire replaced under Goodyear's limited warranty, all I had to pay was $13 for labor. The bookelt that came with my car said if the tires are less than a year old have less than 2/32" treadwear, they are still under the limited warranty.

If not, you still may be able to get new tires pro-rated. This wold cost you some money, but still less than paying full prce for new tires.

I'm not surprised. These low profile tires have no give.
