So, what do you think GM will charge for the extra six HP, i.e., the '08 optional exhaust?

I hear it is a $1000 option for that exhaust

There are a couple of other threads discussing pricing but the big cost will be the difference between the discount a dealer will give you to get rid of a 2007 and the less interest they will have in getting rid of a 2008. I can imagine it costing $10K to get that exhaust even if the option price is only a few hundred.

This is my biggest complaint about the 2008 my - GM releases all the specs for a new, improved C6 but fails to tell anyone what the he*l it will cost. My guess on the exhaust, it will be around $1000 - $1500, comparable to aftermarket setups.

My bet is $695 ... cause for GM it is a replacement cost ... not a new cost like the Aftermarket folks ...

Since the Aftermarket has set the bar at $1300+ for parts you can be sure Chevy will get in excess of $1300 for 10' of pipe and 2 mufflers.
