Congrats. And yes, it is a lot of money, and you should think about it some what. But in the end, if its what you want, then its all worth it.
I've had mine 2 weeks and couldn't be happier. Thought about buying one for months, went to one of the bigger dealerships awhile ago, and just didn't feel right about it at the time. But, saw one locally I wanted, and finally figured that it was about time to get one. Now that I have it, I don't even think about the money I just spent (besides, its too late to worry about it now)!
I'm still a little stressed about spending the money but...
There are a couple of reasons I went with the 07 over 08.
1 no le mans blue in 08
2 3rd year for the car and ls2, hope the bugs a worked out!
3 not crazy about the 08 wheels
4 the ls3 does look nice, but still it's the first year for the engine
5 07 is a little lighter, that should offset a couple of hp
6 I'm tired of waiting
7 400hp, z51, 6mn, sounds alot of fun

You did the right thing man. Allot of money? Come on, nearly every dumb-a** SUV you see running down the road was within shouting distance of what you paid. You worked for it, you deserve it! Do NOT forget to wave.
My first congrats post to someone who purchased an '07! I took the plunge a week ago. Same car, except mine is machine silver. Congrats and miles of smiles!!!
