It looks good.

Funny, but when I owned my C5 a lot of guys wanted to and did paint that area black. I thought GM might have taken a cue from the C5 guys when they designed the C6.

And now, C6 guys want it painted body color. Go figure.

It looks like you did a great job and it looks fine. It's a matter of personal opinion but I still prefer the contrasting black lower fascia which IMO gives the rear of the C6 more of a defined, 'sleeker' shape.

You could always paint yours red.

One of the main reasons I painted it was because of waxing. The old plain black finish would show the dried wax and it is very difficult to get off.

I happen to have on of those lower fascias for sale in the c6parts section. It has a tiny little gash on it that could be easily repaired during prep for something like this.

PM me if you are interested

Looks good Ron - - nice work !

Couple of questions.. . . did you do the paint work yourself or have it done? If done commercially - - -what shop and approx cost ??

I've been noodling on the same idea . . .

thanks-

If you'd have used Zaino, you'd have no problem with "WAX" removal.

Yep! Being a recent convert from a C5 to C6, I was thinking the same thing!

I like the various black accents on the C6. I think it helps the overall color scheme.

As with everything though, if you like it, thats all that matters.
