Roof Replacement
My dealer just called. I was in 1 week ago today for some items, and they looked at the crack that developed in my roof panel. They said that they would order a new one.
I called to check-in today, and they said that the panel was in. But, they said it would take another week to paint & get ready. So, 2 weeks to get panel replaced? Is this normal in everyone's estimation?
Also, he said he had to get the old one back (no surprise there), but he also said that he didn't need the old one for any of the parts because the new one had all the parts with it. Is this correct as well? I seem to recall that others had to strip frame parts, latches, etc. from their old ones to supply the replacement with correct parts.
