build sheet/window sticker

I just received the build sheet/window sticker for my 06 C6 from NCM. How do you tell the date the car was built? Can't seem to locate it on either document.

Someone that has access to GM VIS can input your VIN to find the build date.

Date of Build

The date your car was built is not on the Window sticker or the Build sheet. The key to that info is the Job Number, which the friendly folks at the Museum can use to call the Factory and find out the actual Build date for that Job Number. Try asking for Gary or Lori in the Guest Services/Delivery department at the Museum. Good Luck.

As others have indicted the build date is not on the build sheet or the window sticker. You need to have your VIN run through the GM VIS. GMautotech has been doing this for other members. The VIS report will have your build date and all option RPO information on it.

As posted above but include your email address. He was very helpful and had it the same day. Mine was built on the eve of Christmas eve.

The dealer has the build date on the computer - any work order from them will have the date. The sticker on the driver's door only has the month/year.
