Active Handling Advise

Service active handling alert comes on frequently. Yesterday while driving about 45 MPH on a straight road active handling kicked in, the car did kind of a compression brake and pulled to one side.
I realize I need to take it in for service, but I don't have time right now.

My question is. I want to take the car on a club outing, poker run etc.. on Memorial Day. Should I just disable the active handling. I will be on dry roads and driving conservatively.

Yes turn it off!!!!!!!!! You really need to get it to the dealer now, not later. May just be the steering sensor problem.

Had the same problem and was told there was a recall, yet I never got anything in the mail, had it fixed under warranty.

Yep, it's probably a 10 minute fix. If you have the telescoping steering, they take some tension out of the wiring so it doesn't pull on the connector.
