Default DS Vettes Leather
Friday evening I received my leather door skins from DownSouth Vettes and I thought I would share

First off the Leather quality is awesome as usual as is the workmanship. Fit and finish are excellent.

Thanks to Gerardo and his gang of craftsmen! Also thanks to CF member TheKomoman for his advice and tips on panel removal and installation. His advice made the effort well effortless! The part I feared most - reinstallation went easily!

beautiful, Really puts some subtle bling into it.
Is that expensive to do?

Expensive is a matter of relativity. It isn't cheap....

Looks fantastic John!

One question: The passenger door handle doesn't appear to be leather wrapped. Is there a reason for it?

Gerardo has not got that down to a science yet. There are a lot of compound curves to deal with. I am sendiing him a handle to learn on .

I have Gerardo's "Console 5-Pack" installed on my C6 and all is terrific. I just know I am gonna be ordering a pair of all-leather seat skins from him soon.

I am not brave enough to tackle the dash - yet (I would love to do an Alcantara dash pad). Next interior project will be this fall - two tone seat covers by Gerardo
