Call the Dealer you purchased the car from, demand a flat bed tow truck and a spring replacement. Don't drive the car with a broken spring. I hope warranty will cover it.
Thanks for the replies. It is currently at the dealership (I did drive it myself very slowly so I could be there first thing yesterday). The tech confirmed that my spring is busted and said he's never seen that before. In fact, they are having to priority order the part because they never have to replace them and no one in town has one in stock. He thinks it was just a defective part since it shows no sign of impact.
They will be checking out the entire suspension and hopefully setting it back to stock height (if the previous owner lowered it on the stock bolts). It looks great lowered but it's a pain in the a** scraping everything over 1".
So far Classic has been great to work with, and hopefully I'll have the car back soon. Maybe I'll be able to snap some pics of the busted spring off the car.
Hey - at least I can now identify the front leaf spring!

Well, if that's what you want, you should discuss their adjusting the rear suspension back to stock height with the service contact...it'll be on your dime I'm afraid. Otherwise, yer car will set high in the front like a 50 Merc in an old beach movie.
From your pictures, it looked liked like a large splinter (3/4" wide?) split off the full width of the spring on one side; you were not in any danger by slowly driving to the dealer, but you wouldn't want to continue driving the car as if nothing happened. Good call on your part IMO.
