As I said in the other post, I was seconds away from having the dealer remove it (I bought the car used) but I decided against because I think it looks classy and it will match the red calipers. What do you guys think?

I like it!

IMHO badges are just something to catch a towel on when you clean the car. I don't add any or remove any. What really frosts my butt are the dealers that are stupid enough to slap a big decal on the rearend of a C6. Those obviously have to go.

Hmmm, the 82 wasn't a stingray btw, but if you want to call it that, or put stingray emblems on it, go right ahead..

We don't need no stinking badges...IMHO

And I'll tell you why, in the early days, the little ricers being imported had a badge indicating their accessories. I laughed each time I saw a new one. Some of those cars had badges the full length of the tailgate, I kept waiting for one showing me what radio it had.

A car like the Corvette needs no introduction to make noise about itself, badges are for those have not cars that wanna be something more.

This is all subjective and boils down to personal preference. Like stated in a previous post: the problem starts when when a few think they can dictate to others what is right and wrong. Everyone is entitled to their opinions and has a right to do as they wish with their cars but others don't have to like it. I bought the brand, style, model and options on the car that I like without any regard as to what others think. You have a right not to like my car and I have a right to not care what you think. It is obvious to me that white is the best color, Z51 is a must, chrome factory wheels are the only way to go and the 6 spd man is for real men

I like the stock look. But at the same time I certainly am not going to give you my two cents on what you may have done to your car.

If you want to do something do your car...go for it. It's not for me to judge.

I only have one thing to say about badges....Chevy needs to stop throwing "SS" on everything. It seems that if they want it to be a performance model they throw "SS" on it. Throwing a badge on a car doesn't make it any faster. I mean come on, Cobalt SS???? WTF???? There should be a requirment to stop the GM dipsticks from tossing "SS" on a car before they do it. As for badges on Vettes, hey whatever toots your horn.

Remind me not to go to a doctor who can not read! I was just trying to get the guy to fill out his profile so we can see who we are talking to. You don't have to get so fired up! ( just pulling your chain)

I like a stock look, but I also like a few external cosmetic mods like a Z06 spoiler and painted or chromed door handles, etc.

Personally, no badges here but Z06 spoiler and body color door handles.

Now if all you pro extra badgers would put them all in the same location instead of scattering them haphazardly somewhere near a wheel well, may be a template would be a big seller, I dunno, just my two cents

IMO non-factory badges add nothing to the appearance of the car.

Factory badges add nothing too, but if a car comes with them they'd stay.

My thoughts exactly...Mine had the Z51 badges already on it, and the dealer offered to remove them. I was surprised because I thought it was part of the LT 3, Z51 option pkg. I told him to leave them on at the time, and I may remove them later...Heck I like'em, they're stayin.! ...along with the dark tail light lens, the Z06 spoiler, and the yellow fuel rail covers... mine also had the bright Corvette lettering on the back, but I ripped it off...
