Default HELP Rear Bumper Inserts

Got a set of rear bumper inserts. The tape does not cover the entire letter for all of the letters. Is there a "adhesive" that can be used to attach the corners of a few of the letters without damage to the finish? Thanks!

I think I'd contact the vendor and ask for a new set. They appear to be defective. I'm sure some one will suggest contact cement etc, but to me if the product doesn't work out of the box as advertised it's defective and I send it back.

I've had my SS Insert letters on for 14 months now and they look marvelous.

Good luck

Tom

My first set was like that, ended up trashing them. The ones from RPI Design fit much better, better tape coverage!

I just emailed the provider of the letters and asked to return them. Any advice on how to remove them from the car without hurting the surface?
Thanks

Some heat from a blow dryer? Then rubbing alcohol to clean up/ remove any glue and prep for next set.

All I can saw is what a fine finish. He must have spent 100 hours getting that shine.

I noticed in one of the photos (Feb) he didn't have the inserts in place. Must be a recent addition.

you should be able to find the tape at the local auto store.... 3M VHB black moulding tape is very common - the clear one will be OK also.....

just let the tape "set" for a 24 hours before a wash....

i had mine for a couple of months and noticed the top part of the letter V started to come out from the tip. when i wipe the car sometimes the cloth gets caught so i decided to remove it. i just pulled it out and used the adhesive cleaner to remove the glue.
there is one more type of inserts that is called "ultra" inserts in chrome finish. i believed it's more flexible too. anyone has tried it? ps share your experience.
