IPOD Interface
I have a 06, 1LT coupe. I have been to the Chevy dealer twice looking for the right IPOD solution. I have had the dealer try and install the Smart Park IPOD interface; apparently the base radio (according to the dealer) is not XM ready, so this interface will not play with the base radio. I bought an upgraded GM factory base radio (6 CD in dash) on Ebay. The dealer told me bring it in they will program it to the computer, and then install the Smart Park IPOD interface. Now after 8 hours in the shop, the dealer is telling me the software in my computer will not support the 6 CD upgraded radio. Does anyone have any experience with this? The dealer wants to sell me a $2,100.00 aftermarket radio with Nav so I can use my IPOD, this is a little over the top!

I too have had problems getting an interface to work. I have an 05, with Nav, no XM. A local stero installer has tried the Smart Pack, w/o XM with Nav, will not work. Tried the USA Spec- PAC-11 Vet, with the cable, still could not get it to work. Apparently if you don't have an XM capable radio, nothing will work.
