Hi...I bought Bolt Kit to drop my car... I used them on rear only and it took out Rake, but I think front end went up a whisker... My question is: is there enough adjustment is stock front bolts to drop the front a whisker?
Thanks,
Doug
Doug,
My 2007 C6 only lowered 2 turns in the rear on the stock bolts. That equaled about 1/4". The front lowered 5 turns, about 5/8".
I had to cut the rear bushings to get the desired look I wanted. (5/8")
I have read many similar posts saying the rear on other cars could only be lowered 2-3 turns on the stock bolts.
All vettes are different but to say that 1" lowering on stock bolts is no problem is just not true. There may be a few to get 1' lower on stock bolts but I haven't seen or heard of one.
I am a little confused about your original post. Did you buy a kit to lower the rear and the FRONT? If so the front should have lowered also.
And the important question: Do you have the stock ride height measurements and the measurements now?
