Has anyone bought the APSIS mud flaps for their C6. I have read the post a week or two ago and there appeared to be alot of controversy ref the price $500 - I agree, way too high. I called the vendor and spoke to Mr. Woo (spelling?) and he sold me two sets for both my dad and myself for our 07 / C6s for $355 per set of four. Still a bit high, but more than willing to pay this if the vendor stands behind his product - both fit and finish. Interested if anyone else has bought a set for their car and if so, how do you llike them?
I agree - even at $355, a bit high. However, I considered the 3m product, but they want $900-1,000 in the Montgomery, AL area for the front clip, side mirrors and rocker panels. I really do not have a problem with the bugs or the front end as my car is locally driven - only in good weather. However, have noticed a few chips around the wheel wells with on 2k miles. Anxious to get them and will post pictures if anyone is interested. Again, interested if anyone else has bought a set and how you like them.

To answer your actual question, no I haven't purchased mine yet. Working on the inside at the moment, so I have several of Jersey's wood parts to install, but will be in DSOM color match once I'm back to the outside. Everything from them has been higest quality and always good interactions with Jersey.
On a seperate note. I can't understand all the owners that spent 50-70 thousand for their Vette and GM's quality, but Pi$$ and Moan about the cost of highest quality parts here. But they will flush gobs of cash to get 10HP (race priority cars excluded) to sit in traffic.
I just ordered a "long style" set of Front mud flaps today from APSIS. The long set is comparable to the stock Z06 length. They are preparing to make a "mini" front which will be shorter in length. The fellow that I chatted with was quite nice and took my order. I will post photos and the installation notes when they arrive. The cost of the item is like the cost of gasoline. I don't really care what it costs as long as I think it is worth it for my enjoyment. I can only guess that Pacman Jones feels the same way when he makes it "rain" in strip clubs.....

Look foward to the picture, if you get them. Only problem is if they are hard gel coated fiberglass they will get even more damage than your car
It would be a rigid piece and would end up with the same damage as your body would realize without any guards.
Most guards, spoilers, etc that are down low and subject to the vagaries of the road are more flexible materials such as urethane or plastic composites.
Fiberglass will crack if struck hard, compared to no damage on a flexible piece.
