Dimming Mirrors
The drivers and rear view dim So why not the passenger side ???????

Being the kind of mirror it is, I guess it was felt like it was unneeded. Headlights in that mirror at night don't bother me.

aimed properly, the passenger side outside mirror will never reflect in your face. I'm assuming you know the correct method.

I don't think it needs to be and I'm not sure I like the drivers mirror dimming.

Are you referring to the ruler at the rear of the car method?

I wish the passs side did too! It is a great feature for us 'ol farts who find glare a problem with night driving.

cave is a cave. So it is a convex mirror.
The only time the passenger mirror should dim would be if you were cruising in the left lane with someone in the right. That should never happen if you are driving properly. In other words, MOVE OVER SLOWPOKE!!!
Also if the mirrors are aimed properly even when you are overtaking someone, their headlights would not hit that mirror directly for more than a few seconds.
