the Wave

Was taking my Sunday morning drive on one of the back roads around the Minooka, Illinois area and went by 4-5 red cars. One of them was a C6 so I waved and honked the horn. They honked back. Traveling with them was a older Alfa Romeo and a Ferrari. Wish I could have joined them!

Why didn't you just turn around if you were only on a Sunday morning ride? I'm sure you coulda caught up to them with your C6!!

btw/ Where in Illinois is Manooka? I'm Rockford, 35 years ago.

Minooka is east of Morris off of I-80

Are the still racing cars at the old Grundy County Fairground? I grew up in the south burbs of Chicago. Spent many a night there. I really miss the old tracks back there( Raceway Park, Santa Fe, O"hara stadium).
