Alright so it was last monday (memorial day) and i decided to take mulholland drive to my friends house at malibu. As i passed by the restaurant where all the bikers hang out i noticed the turns got a little tighter. Im taking the turns at the speed limit and next thing i know theres a BMW biker behind me right up my butt. I said alright nice the biker wants to have fun. I increased my speed and we went at it. I hit a straight way and i gave the biker a signal to pass me ( since i didnt wanna ruin his ride) the guy gets in front of me and points the middle finger at me and starts going crazy. He points at the ground next to him and told me to pull up. (All this while we're still going 35-40mph)
Now i have a few friends that ride motorcycles and theyve told me that this would be the perfect time for him to kick my car and get away with it. I said screw this and i floored it. Now we're taking the turns double time and im trying to loose him. Instead i lost it on one of the turns and understeered. I came 2 inchs from running into the mountain. The biker flys by and tries to kick my headlight and misses.
Now im thinking to myself FINALLY! hes gone wow. 2 min later im driving and i see him coming the other way, next thing i know he threw a rock at me going the opposite way .
By the time i came to a stop and was able to turn around he was long gone. At this point if i saw him again i wouldnt think twice about my fiber glass parts, hes going off the @#$@# mountain.
If anyone knows any information please let me know. This guy will pay DEARLY!!!! Im a cool guy to chill with but when you do such a b!itch move like that and run away. WOW im coming to your house.
Wow, that's extreme stuff right there.
I know some will fault you a little in this thing as well (I won't bother with that) but you're still the victim, that's serious.

Thats odd to come from BMW Rider. A squid on a sportbike would have been my guess. Next time, just let him pass- I'm a rider first, a Vetter Second- Anyone on 2 wheels that has a brain would not engage in any games with a car. Obviously he is not all there if he's playing games with you.
I had a biker get PO'ed at me on 95 south (I was in a Jeep GC at the time). He was pissed because he tried to pass me on the left and ran out of room (I was in the left lane, passing cars in the center lane at about 70-75). This guy gets crazy but eventually disappears. Then suddenly, he reappears and chucks a dirt clod at me striking the windshield. I reported his tag but heard nothing more from it. Some bikers are really cool, but many are just butt munches.
WOW this is extreme - What damage did he do? I would bet that he can be found at the bar again but I would have a couple of LEO's in tow if I went there. Sounds like he is nuts so I would stay clear.

Cell phones are a wonderful thing. The instant someone starts crap -wanting to race, aggresive driving at me .... I show them the phone ... if they don't stop, I call 911 and report them (just remember to always get plate number first if you can).
Guy was probably drunk ...... he will eventually get his - karma is a MF.

No chance of picking him out, on a nice day, there are 200+ bikes at the Rockstore.
next time call 911 and get the cops on him....you never should have speeded up IMO. In such situations I signal and then sedately pull off to let em around. Lots of crazies out there and many no doubt on drugs ( bikers or not....could be driver of a minivan ).
you're lucky it coulda turned out worse for you. just my opinion I wasn't there. I avoid southern California altogether now. I might make it to Yosemite in the off season again but south of that's pretty much a write off IMO. ( for a variety of reasons )
The rock ended up hitting my back driver side quarter panel. It took off the paint, you can basically see the metal of the car.
I really dont know what set him off. The funny thing is my friend was in his Z4 behind me and later on told me he was also up his butt but passed without any problems.
Im thinking he was so into my back that on the turns when traction control went off he prolly thought i wanted to screw with him or get re-ended or something. He shouldnt have been following me that close.

Easy for me to say... BUT
Sorry about your predicament. These days there are people out cruising and looking for trouble. Obviously that angry, frustrated biker could not resist the grand appeal of your ride.
This biker proved himself to be uncivilized and, therefore, he had the upper hand over you. He cared little about himself or was on something that caused him to disregard the potential consequences. He was single-minded about inflicting damage on you, his chosen victim.
These days we never know what is motivating any of these maniacs who may even appear to be normal, doing regular activities, and have no clear incentive to inflict harm upon strangers.
I am writing this trying to convince myself to pause, slow down, and get out of their way the next time I experience a situation such as yours.
Hopefully we can pause and realize that there can be no fun or gain for us by interacting with these despicable, angry, frustrated, uncaring jerks.
I am glad you escaped real damage and serious harm.
So, I'm actually quite curious as to what would possess a person to do such a thing. Just an extreme lack of respect for other people and their property or what? I just don't understand why someone would want to do this...I can guarantee that they wouldn't want someone to do it to them, so why would you submit a stranger to something you wouldn't want done to yourself?
I had a similar experience with a biker about 4 months ago. I passed him and his girlfriend (both on bikes) on the highway. I had no intention of racing, didn't get close to them or anything. I really didn't pay much attention to them.
The next thing I know I see the guy flying up behind me weaving in and out of traffic. By this point I had caught up to traffic in front of me and was riding in the left hand lane. There were about 15 cars in front of us and I could tell that this guy was going to try and split the lanes at a high rate of speed (illegal here in the state of SC).
Well, we were coming up to the intersection of two major highways, and I moved my car over just far enough so that he couldn't go flying through. I never left my lane, but took away the space that he needed. The next thing I know the guy is trying to grab onto my car while we are doing 70mph. First he trys grabbing where the hood and fender come together, and then he trys grabbing onto my mirror. This went on for about 2-3 miles. I couldn't believe it! Luckily I got a break in traffic and was able to get away from the wacko.

While the idiot biker's actions were inexcusable, your story is a perfect example of how dangerous it can be to play the role of "enforcer".
