rear ratio question
i currently have an '02 coupe auto with perf axle [3.15 rear gear]
this was important to me back in '02 as the 2.73 standard rear was a bit boring.
i am considering buying a new "07 or '08 auto coupe and notice that the rear gear is 2.53 but it is a 6 speed.
how will this compare to my '02?
and i'm mainly concerned about take-off, not so much the top end.

I had an '00 with 3.15's and I was concerned about the 2.53 gearing on my '07 A6. Because it is an auto 6-speed vs. the auto 4-speed the lower gears are different and the pull in the lower gears on my '07 feels as strong, if not stronger, than on my '00.
