having problem removing passenger muffler?

Default having problem removing passenger muffler?

installing a corsa system and i am having a problem removing the passenger side muffler. i have allready removed the h pipe. should i just force it out or what?

Mine was tight but they came out. No problem with the installation. Passenger side was the culpit.

Take down the sway bar and it will come out very easy-peezy!

You are supposed to remove the sway bar and remove/bend the corner bracket where the exhaust his the underside.Whatch this video & it explains what to do on the left side.....http://www.ecklers.com/product.asp?d...6912&video=yes

Great Info, I was wondering how hard it would be to replace the stock exhaust and now I see that its not. I wish I had a lift to work off of.

When i did my route 66's i undid the H pipe and pushed the whole setup foward just enough to clear the back end of my car, took about 40 mins with another guy and myself to remove the stockers and install the 66's.

The passenger side on 6 speed cars are no problem to remove.Its the automatic's that you need to bend the clip.
