I have and 07 c6 with about 3000 miles on it and took the car in for a front end alignment, which turned into a 4 wheel alignment ! what shocked me was how far out of alignment it was !
from what i understand from the dealership, g.m. will only cover the alignment for 7500 miles ! some out there may want to be aware of this.

I had a C5, and was advised to get an alignment after I drove it home from the dealer!

Some of my more experienced C6 buddies told me it's not as much an issue with this generation... I'll be following this one!

How bad was it?
What are the before and after settings?

Get a Professional alignment done after the first 1,000 miles. DO NOT GO TO THE DEALER. The Dealer uses the very broad + or - specs from the book, and as far as he's concerned as long as the specs are close he's done.

Get an Independent Alignment shop to do a 4 wheel alignment, talk to the Tech, he'll suggest the correct settings for your style of driving. You can't go wrong with a "no + or -" middle setting for street driving.

Picked up my Vert at the Museum, drove home and got an alignment the next week. The boys and girls at the BG assembly plant do a great job, but alignments are not their strong suit. During the plant tour, I saw how little time is spent on alignment..... An alignment from a shop that knows what they are doing is well worth the money. The car will drive better, handle better and the tires will last longer.

Thanks for the input ! I guess the biggest shock to me was
how little time/miles the warranty covers it for !
Unfortunately i don't have a scanner, but i will try and give the specs
the old manual way.

front:left front:right
actual before range actual before range
-0.4 -0.6 -1.1 to 0.2 camber -0.5 -0.7 -1.1 to 0.2
7.5 7.8 6.9 to 8.1 caster 7.3 7.7 6.9 to 8.1
.06 .25 -.06 to.15 toe .06 .25 -.06 to .15

cross camber .0 .1 -.6 to.6
cross castor .2 .1 " " "
total toe .11 .49 -.10 to.30

rear :left rear:right
-.4 -.1 -1.0 to .1 camber -.5 -.1 -1.0 to .1
-.02 .01 -.10 to .10 toe .03 -.30 -.10 to .10

rear

cross camber .1 actual .0 before -.5 to.5 range
total toe .1 -.29 before -.20 to .20 range
thrust angle -.02 actual .16 before -.20 to .20 range

that is 3000 miles of pretty easy driving,. no autcross,no,racing
I also see what you mean by the ranges Oh well, live and learn !

I'm not sure I'm reading this right, but it doesn't look that bad. Am I missing something?
