Looks very cool - - literally and figuratively. Out here in the Southwest, the sun gets brutal and the summer AC bills can go through the roof! We have a solar tint on the west-facing windows, and of course, tint on the Vette, but a variable tint - - now that's one heck of a great idea . . .I'm gonna try and follow up on that.

This looks a lot like the variable tint replacement windows you could buy for your home a few years ago. Trouble was, the variable feature quit after 12-18 months.

It's a little older than that. It's been around for at least 25 years in windows. It was invented in 1904. It's the same principle as an LCD screen. It is VERY expensive and has reliability problems.
