Incentives and SillyRabbit
Well now that the dust has started to clear (a little)... was she right?
She pm'ed me a date for incentives and on that day 0 percent was released for the 06's... I was expecting incentives on the 07's so i asked her what the deal was! She eluded to the fact that gm wanted to clear out the 06's and that 07 incentives were not far behind.
Seems to make sense. It's Logical.
But either way even if we dont see incentives on the 07... there are plenty of reasons we probably will but even if we dont a lot of people swore up and down we didnt need no stinkin incentives and it wasnt happening and shortly after... Bam 0 percent on the 06's. I think she showed those people and if the 07 incentives come around thats big time egg on a lot of faces...
So is she 100 percent credible i am sure waiting to find out! So far though she has been dead on.

There are nearly 6,200 07 Corvettes that have yet to clear the market. This is almost 20% of the 07 build! Incentives are a lock.

i agree... but if you were involved with the original thread the members on this site were jerks. They jumped on anyone and everyone that said incentives were even possible. They said it will devalue the brand blah blah... Now everyone is singing a different tune! Fact: Gm will do what it needs to to move new cars regardless of used resale!

Don't over react to numbers that by themselves are meaningless.

I don't know who "she" IS and I don't care!Incentives on 06's at this late stage in the game is pretty much meaningless to their resale.I don't want any incentives like 0% on new stuff (08's) because that is the fastest,surest way to send resale right to hell!Always was,always will be!

gm will not be doing anything as far as the 07 vette come the end of the month.
now as for other inventory...2007's.. starting June 28th..the 72 hour sale begins....
