Speaker Issue
1. Any tips on taking the door panel off ?
2. Any other thoughts on what it might be ?
Thanks
Remove the two screws behind a plastic door-colored plate 1/2" high x 3" long behind the handle. Stick a padded screwdriver in the slot on the bottom of the door panel and pry the panel out enough to get your fingers in there. Pull the bottom of the panel away from the door until all of the plastic push pins are loose and the panel is swinging from the top edge (the pins will make a lot of noise, its ok). Lift the panel up to release the clips along the top edge from the door. Reach behind and undo the electrical connector and its free.
Installation is the reverse, and geting the top clips back on is the hardest part. Start with one end clip, push in and down, and work your way along the top edge securing one clip at a time. When the top edge is clipped, line up the top two push pins in their holes and push the panel down and back on. Reinstall the two screws.
Good luck!
It has been in to have a wheel sensor replaced and when I got it back I noticed a soda can ring on the hood ! Discussed my find with the Service Manager and Sales Manager, in a restrained manner. They told me that they would discuss this with the technician. Doubt if anything was ever really done.
When it goes in, I'll be there watching.
