Read they are really cool and very bright. Too bright? Checked a couple of vendors with no luck. Where did you get yours? Found a 31 led bulb kit on ebay. No housing, just bulbs the seller says are snap in's. The DIY thread in FAQ was an entire assembly.

I did install the resistors, which came with the kit. Without them, the lights blink way too fast and look mickey mouse. I gotta tell you, this kit is just as simple as can be to install. Took less than a half hour for all four.
Had a niuce club drive to a local winery today and had 3 others ask about them. The guy following me on the drive said they were terrific. He has MR C5 and I expect the next time I see it, the lights will be LED.

What kit? Those bulbs are the same bulbs I used on my C5 w/European taillights. I purchased mine @ www.autolumination.com and I see they have LED flashers now.

You can get load resistors pretty much anywhere. Most places sell 8 ohm ones for approximately $5-10. I have about 40 left over after trying to do the taillight retrofits, I'll sell you some if you're interested. Shoot me a PM if you are.
You'll want the 6 ohm versions. MAKE VERY SURE YOU DO NOT ATTACH THEM ANYWHERE CLOSE TO PLASTIC OR EVEN USE SCREWS TO ATTACH TO PLASTIC. They get so hot and even will transfer that heat down metal screws to plastic and eventually melt that too.

(one for each bulb - don't use the 3 ohm ones they may blow the fuses)
above resistors are for the (burned out bulb feature - fast blinking)
