Default C6 seats

Will C6Z seat skins fit on standard C6 seats or are there differences in the seats like the C5's have??

You should consider changing your technique. I've got 20,000 on mine and the seats look showroom.

Part of the problem is the bottom part of the seat is not wide enough, It needs to be an inch wider and a inch longer them bean counters at GM penny pinch on the bottom part of the seat.

I jump in my car Dukes of Hazzard style, avoids the side bolsters altogether.

I think my next mod is to weld the doors shut and put a dixie flag on the roof.

After five years in the C5 sport seat, I think the C6 is down right comfy!

4800 miles, and no indication of any wear issues, yet. Had a '97 C5 with the standard seat (more comfortable than the C5 sport seat, IMO). Both C5 seats started to show wear on the left outer side of the back rest. My body never even touched it! Never could figure it out unless it was from the seat belt. Watching for that in the C6.

Jeans tend to make the bolsters wear quicker when entering and exitting...put some slacks on and your problem will go away

1LT AND 1LZ seats are identical and have a one piece back and no side airbags, so the skins will fit.

All other seats 2LT, 3LT and 2LZ have a two piece back (halo with airbag and inner section) skins are not interchangeable with the 1LT and 1LZ.

I wear slacks to work every day, and I've worn jeans maybe 10% of the time. My seats, after 8000 miles and two years, have the wrinkles/ creases on the bottom side near the door. I've used leather conditioner a few times . . . what gives?

You just need a narrower butt, or as KILR-Z51 says, a wider seat.

I just noticed this morning that my drivers seat bolster is showing white thread at the seam. 1yy07vette did the warranty cover your replacement? I have 8000 miles on my coupe and it's 1 yr old.
