Taking a little trip with the wife and was going to give her the 2nd fob. Any issues with both in the car at the same time? I know not to leave one in the car while it is parked.
You should be all right. My wife and I both bring ours on trips as well. fob #1 will take control but the car may sense the other fob in the car and beep the horn if you get out for gas. We don't take the battery out or put it in back. My wife simply keeps hers in her purse and we've driven halfway across the country this way with no problems. Enjoy the trip.

Samething here, across the country and no problems with both fobs. If #2 want to drive, then simply select it on the door, at least that's what we did. Have fun!
I just picked up my 1st vert. I let my fiancee drive and i follow her in her truck. She started the vert with my keyfob and i accidentally took both with me while following her. No issues if you dont have one in the car after starting. And while riding together, we alway have the two keyfobs in the car.. no issues at all..
Depending on how you set up your initial specifications the car will go through a symphony of flashing lights and horn beeps when you walk away and your wifes key is still in the car and yours is locking the car.
I don't know if anyone posted this but you can put the second FOB in an EZ-Pass transponder bag and the car will not know it is there. (I think PA uses EZ-Pass).
No problems here. We've probably driven 15,000 miles with both of us and both fobs in the car. Hers is usually in her purse or on the floor or the shelf behind us.

This didn't work for me. I tried putting the fob in a Delaware EZ Pass transponder bag and it still worked. I'll try aluminum foil and see if that works. I'd like to keep a second fob in the car all the time in case I lose the #1 fob while away from home. (Yes, I'm fully capable of doing that).

If you lose the #1 fob, how are you going to get into the locked car to use the #2 fob?

You will not experience any problems/issues by having both fobs in the car at the same time. I would caution you, however, to take your keys with you as well. You may need to open your trunk with your key if you should lock both fobs in the car.
Have a safe and enjoyable trip!
