What sim is this??? I have GTR and GTR2 with the C5R's which are both good sims. But this looks like a stock corvette he is driving, I have to find this sim now LOL
The steering wheel looks VERY light. I've got over 1,000 miles on road courses in C6's. The sound was good, the general attitude with respect to the road seemed ok, but the steering was a joke. I have never needed that much steering input (even when I screw up), so many times in one lap.
Got me one of these.
Graphics are not as impressive by todays standards, but this guy still holds up even today.
Clutch, force feedback, realistic sim!

I think he was doing some of it on purpose to show what the car will do, the second video was on how to make it drift or slide through the corner. I am sure the steering has simulated road feel, also he was heal/toeing it when braking shifting. For someone who has never tracked their C6, this should give them a pretty good idea what it will act like on the track. Amazing how close the latest sims will get.
Sim looked pretty good. Did not understand why the long discourse on sliding on purpose on pavement. I have done many autocrosses in my C6 as well as one (high speed 140+ mph on somewhat damp pavement) track day (Corpus Christi, TX @ Cabaniss) and have yet to see a situation where sliding the car approached an optimal technique for producing low lap times. A good four-wheel drift is another matter, but there was a lot of steer-right-to-slide-left techniques displayed in the video which really don't seem useful for asphalt/concrete driving. Please let me know if I'm way off-base here, but it just looks flashy and slow to me.
The driver in the video is very accurate when emphasizing the importance of patience with the car...my experiences on stock wheel/tire sizes have been that the car is set up for terminal understeer unless you induce oversteer with your right foot. The sim really mimics that behavior well.
