Anyone had this problem?
At first I thought it was dirty, but after a few washes it's still there. They look like small cracks from the inside, the other side is okay. Should this be a simple warranty replacement? Anyone has any advice.
I only have one nick on mine at 2500 miles but i put several coats of wax on them when i did my first wax job, That sucks try putting more distance between you and the driver in front of you on the freeway, As far as the warranty covering it thats a good ?
That appears to be crazing. Have you put headlight protectors on? You know the plastic covers sold by the catalog house or the 3M clear bra material by a professional installer? The other instances of that that I have seen here were caused by the above. If the installer uses a solution with too much alcohol it can cause damage.
No covers, but I wonder why only the left headlight has this problem.
Good question. Crazing can also be caused by a "high stress" event such as an impact or compression. One side may have been prone to a defect from the particular materials used in that cover. Your case may be worth a trip to the dealer. Warranty claims on the headlights have been hit or miss but your could be a case of defective materials.

Thanks guys, I never saw this issue here before. I did a search for crazing and found it's a common problem. I'm going to go to the dealer and hope to get a replacement.

Those white marks could be be from something else, I have them on other parts as well. But that doesn't concern me much.
I have the exact same thing on my left headlight only! There has never been any 3M vinyl or anything of the sort on mine. Guess I will take a trip to the dealer and see what they say.

Does your car sit outside in the sun? Ive had my C6 for 1 1/2 years but it stays in the garage and I work midnights so it rarely sees the sun. Both the lens are perfect.
It's only on the left one probably because you will pick up road grime and other junk on a two lane road from oncoming traffic which will always come from the left side.

Yes, but it still doesn't explain why only the left headlight. I would imagine both sides would have the same issue based on this cause.

Yeah, that might be it. What's even funnier is that I saw it right after I put those stripes.

I'm doubting this, but what do I know. I believe the crazing phenomenon is the real culprit in this situation.
