Default Lubar support problem

The lumbar support is unpredicatable in my C6. Sometimes when I set it it stays put. Other times it keeps coming to the full put position while I'm driving, and I did not press any memory button. I can't figure out a specific circumstance where this happens. Yesterday my husband drove the car and he noticed it immediately. He kept setting the seat back and then in a minute it came back out. Seems to happen slowly so you don't notice it till its full out and annoying. My back is not good and the lumbar full out is very uncomfortable. If I take it to the dealer I bet it doesn' happen so nothing will be done.

Anyone else have this problem? Thanks. marysc6

Yes, I let my husband Vicny drive the car, probably not a smart move.

Make sure you are using the same key to operate the car that you used to program the seat to start with, then reprogram your postions with your key, sometimes that will cure the problem with the operation in question. If you use two different keys you are going to generally get two different postions.

I haven't had lumbar control problems but problems with the front/back power function. I would think they are all controlled by the wiring harness under the seat. Dealer finally replaced the harness.
