The driver wiper seems to have some sort of a spoiler, what happens when it's time to replace them?
I was reading that these are 20.5" blades, anyone know where I can find them? Or what brand are used for the oem?

I upgraded to a pair made by Robert Bosch

http://www.amazon.com/Bosch-419A-ICO.../dp/B000IY8T2Y

Most auto parts store carry a size to fit a C6.

You can buy just a refill, and keep the factory wiper. I bought my refills at Kragen (a.k.a. Checker, a.k.a. Schuck's) but I suspect you can find them at most auto parts stores.

I tried using a blade refill on mine, but it just didn't "fit right". Ended up buying the complete replacement blade with the high speed spoiler from the dealer for about $25. FYI, the little spoiler works really well. I live in the Seattle area and while driving in the rain, the driver's side blade keeps much better contact with the windshield than the passenger side.

We opted for the Bosch Icon blade replacements after a few disapointing performances by the factory blades, i.e. streaks and lift-offs at highway speeds. The performance improvement is phenomial. After several more trips that included rainfall, we very highly recommend the Bosch Icon blades. BTW, we stuck the factory set-ups in a zip-lock for the next owner.

No need to change the entire blade. I got my refills at PepBoys. Make sure you use the narrow ones.

Interesting, do the Icon blades fit perfectly? Which size did you get since the factory blades are 20.5"?

The refills aren't that easy to get, as they are narrower than most and a lot of parts places don't stock the refills anyway, preferring to sell a whole wiper assembly (for a lot more money). Most generic refills come in one length and are cut to fit. Best bet is ordering them from a dealer or parts house. Don't use the part number in the 2005 owner's manual; its wrong. So is the part number for the air filters.

I have the Icons, and like them. I haven't personally tried for 190 MPH in the rain but they seem to stay down just fine at all speeds I have tried. I went with a 21 A on the driver's side and a 20 B on the passenger's side. That fits better than the 20.5 on both sides, at least as far as wiping evenly at the top and not having the passenger side blade loose at the end.

Note that these blades come in A (driver) and B (passenger) side versions; the B is more curved and fits the passenger side better.

The Tire Rack. They did not have a listing for the C6, but I found that the Cadillac CTS wiper sizes fit perfectly. They are PIAA brand. You will want the super silicone. I got the spoiler only on the driver's side. Best wipers I have ever had.

Here

Same as Calemasters. The PIAA's from Tire Rack. The 1/2" difference from the OEM is not even noticeable, and the Silicone works great and lasts a long time (I have had them on an Acura RSX type S for 3 years and they still work fine.).

Default Bosch Icons

The Bosch Icons are the best. I use them on all of our vehicles and have only positive things to say.

My C6 is 26 months old--and I used the wipers for the first time today. Per the weather it wasn't supposed to rain!
