HUD and Speedometer

Anyone else with the HUD notice that the speedo is always 1-2 MPH faster than the HUD. Or is it just mine?

The analog speedo gauge has a tolerance of 3% of full scale, or 6 MPH. The HUD has a tolerance of 1 count, or 1 MPH. Trust the HUD.

Mine are off 1 mph. The cruise control is off 1 mph also.

don't have hud, but the gps readout on my Avic Z1 shows my needle is right on at 80mph.

My HUD also displays 1MPH lower. According to my GPS, the HUD is accurate within 1MPH.

I don't have Nav but I do have an auxillary GPS that I carry in the car when I travel to an unfamiliar locations. The speedo usually reads about 2mph higher than the HUD but the HUD reads within 1/2 mph of the speed calculated by the GPS.

The speedometer on my Garmin GPS system and the HUD seem to be in synch when I am cruising between 70 and 80. At those same speeds, the analog speedometer usually looks to be in concert with the other two; however, I can only guess as to how accurate it is.
