I have to agree with the trouble keeping LMB clean. I have to wash it just before dark to make sure I don't get any water spotting. If I don't use micro-fiber towels, it gets scratches. About 2 days after being washed it needs it again.

What's the problem? It's good that the colors are changed regularly so we can all find a color we like.

Opinions are like ********, you know the saying, I had a 98 Nassau blue vette and loved the color. I now have an 05 LMB and love it as well. Thats why they make different colors, so we all have choices. But even if i don't like a certain color, i don't trash others choices!

Yea, sorry no sympathy here as there has been at least 50+ people bashing the new JSB which I bought but I know its the best color so I'm not getting upset over it.

That's exactly the right attitude to have!

I like Velocity Yellow. If the next guy think it looks like someone poured antifreeze into a urine specimen, it's fine with me. Some people have pretty thin skin!

Honestly, who gives a flying F what other people think about your car? It's yours. You bought it because you like it. End of story.

Well I do hate to be mean, but I'm a little confused why if someone says something about LMB, its a problem but when people say the JSB looks girly or for chicks or looks like the easter bunnys car and other stupid things that its okay.

LMB was a waste. It's so dark, it might as well be black. It appears that just about every LMB pic posted was taken in direct sunlight on a cloudless day.

I'm glad to see GM is getting with the program and coming out with brighter colors for the Vette.

I checked into it.
I, too, really wanted a LMB/red interior car for my 2008 and asked about a "special run" of LMB if I got enough orders together. You know, 10, 20, something like that. The short answer is that unless there are 1000 orders ready to do, it won't happen, and even then it would be "iffy."

Even my GM contact (who could make it happen if anyone could) can't make it happen. He's not much of a JSB fan either, but still can't help with that aspect of my car.

Remember folks, the new "jetstream blue" looks like a remake of the Nassau blue, Marina blue, Mulsanne blue, and the original LeMans blue. All were the same shade of blue, and very popular!
The colors they offer on Corvettes now I find extreamley boring!

They definitely need to add more colors that pop! I think the C6 lines are showed off best with bright metallic colors, such as Magnetic Red, Atomic Orange, Daytona Sunset Orange, etc. They definitely need to offer green again, but not a dark green like the last one they made (Bowling Green Metallic, which was so dark it looked like black under anything but bright sunlight)

Yeah...

GM is crazy for discontinuing a color that had such poor panel to panel variability that it looked like a 10 year old attempted to color match each panel separately Apparently some people must like the "custom" look.

All of the crap about the new blue looking like a "girls car" or whatever... Give it a break... How old are you people, 12? As many others have pointed out, LMB had a significant amount of purple to it... So by the logic of these "girl color" people, they too are driving quite the "girl's car"...

Pretty stupid comments if you ask me.

I think both colors are pretty nice... The light blue is a nice change, they have had dark blue for 8 model years now and so it was time for a change. if you hate the color so much, don't buy it... If you really need a 08 with LMB dig deep into your pockets and have it repainted. Afterall, real men have the money (as in cash) to have their car painted whatever color they choose. I for one love the color of the Ferrari Grigio Silverstone and will likely have my car repainted that color. I already have a paint sample.

It's obvious there is the dark color crowd and there is the light color type of customers. I myself prefer the dark colors. Actually my Vette technically isn't even a color but that's not the point.

GM isn't going to please everybody but they are all Vettes nonetheless so it really shouldn't matter.

I agree with a previous post about liking the blue Mustang. IMHO the LB was too dark and the JSB is too light. I would like to see a happy medium. I also agree with a previous post about vette colors in general. I like the VY because it 'pops.' I much prever the grey on the Mustang and the red on a Ferrari in comparison to the colors offered on the vette. (Yes, I know Ferrari's are expensive. I'm just saying...). I find the colors of the vette to be too tame, or something to that effect.

LeMans Blue does indeed look very nice, but to me I do think it's a bit too dark and shows swirls and dust just about as bad as black. It looks great in bright sunlight, but a bit dull on cloudy days. I think JetStream Blue is a nice change and I do think it'll be fairly popular. It would've been nice to see a bright blue similar to Electron Blue make a comeback, and it wouldn't surprise me to see something like that in a few years, perhaps it'll be offered on the C7.

I just wonder why GM doesn't offer a custom color option. And to all you guys that say JSB is a chick color, try and get comfortable with your manhood,
OK

Default I have LMB 06 Z51 convertible with JSB Z06 on order!

My 2006 LMB converible is perfect, but it is 15 months old. If you go to Edmunds to check the value of your trade in they deduct for dark blue. They are making 20 JSB Z06s at the end of July and one of them is mine. I find it hard to understand how popular LMB is and it is a deductible on value. By the way if anyone needs a perfect 2006 LMB convertible, Nav, Z51 I am wanting to give it a new home vs trade.

I should have my JSB Z in the first week of August. I think we need photos before before everyone hates my new car.

Once I've seen one in person, I'll decide. But LMB has a touch too much purple in it for me. LMB and AO were the only colors I didn't consider when picking out my car.

JSB, in the pictures anyway, looks a lot like the 60's Marina Blue as someone posted. One of my favorites back then.
