HVAC Control Problem
Has anyone had this problem? Started my 06 C6 this morning to find the HVAC display screen was flashing on and off non stop. I was heading to dealer concerning ongoing popping problem with clear top anyway so had them look at this. "That's something new". "Haven't seen this before". Right!! Well had to replace Control Screen.

I had the exact problem with my 2005. After dealer trying to diagnose the prob and supposedly upgrade the computer component it still was not fixed after 8 days of being in the shop. I heavily suggested it be replaced on warranty and they did that but now the ***** do not match the entertainment system *****. I had the black plain ***** and the 06 and up have the ones with the silver ring...and I like those better so I was a little pill of myself and made them order the one to match the new HVAC unit.
It was such a frustrating prob...sometimes it worked...sometimes it would stick on with the air blowing or the hear blowing.
Make them replace it....Mine works great now. Good luck.

Happened to me, too
Mine started flashing months ago. Then it would display garbage characters, and some of the controls would quit working, then it would be fine. Cleaning the connectors on the back of the console did nothing.
The problem got worse and worse. When it degraded to the point where the HVAC console worked only about 20% of the time, I had it replaced under warranty and now it's fine.
