At 3300 your order can't be changed. If you want to change your color, you'll have to place a new order and start your wait over again. This may or may not be a big deal - if you're working with a reasonably high volume dealer who gets a lot of allocation you can probably place a new order and have your car within 6 weeks. How long did it take you to get to 3300 after placing your current order with your dealer?
FWIW, my car came off the assembly line exactly 15 days after my order went to 3300; it was delivered to my dealer exactly 14 days later. If your dealer has immediate allocation, you can probably place a new order and have it reach 3300 in roughly 2 weeks; at that point, another month and you'd have the car.

Well, I am definitely not changing my order in that case, but your car took 2 weeks to hit your dealer after it was made. For lack of a better word that SUCKS!!!!. My TPW is 7/30 and I was hoping to see it by the following week!!

Sometimes they stay at the plant for a quality control for a week or more. But they always have to wait until they get a full load going to your part of the country before Allied will head your way. Two weeks is not unusual at all.
Just tried to change the wheels on mine on Saturday and found out today that it is too late. My car is at 3300 (thought it was 3400) with a TPW of 08/06.

Here's a breakdown of how the 2 weeks was eaten up:
Car came off the line on a Friday.
It was released to Allied for shipping the following Tuesday (just 2 business days after coming off the line, a typical timeframe).
The full truck with my car on it left Bowling Green on Thursday, 2 days later.
The truck made its way toward California through the next day (Friday, the 1 week mark since coming off the line); it then made no westerly progress for 3 days due to the July 4th 3-day weekend (this was 2005).
On Tuesday, driving resumed. The driver made California on Thursday, 13 days after my car came off the line.
My car was last off the truck; the driver made 6 stops in California before finally arriving at me dealer on Friday afternoon, the 14th day after my car came off the line.
When you break it down like this it's easy to see that 2 weeks from off-line to dealer is not at all far-fetched. Depending on how far you're located from Bowling Green, how long you have to wait for a full load to your area, and where you dealer is on the driver's route (early vs. late stop), your wait could be shorter or longer.

Well I am in Western New York about 650 miles from Bowling Green so definitely closer than you. Hopefully this will make a difference. I have been Vettless for almost a month and every week is precious.
What color did you order, and what are you now considering?
I have a black Z on order, but I was kicking silver around as I have seen a few sharp silver Z's lately, and easier to keep clean. My 05 C6 was Black/Black so I was thinking of a change also. I know however the second I see the black beast I will be glad I stayed with black.

I am in Rochester. Perhaps I was lucky but if my memory is correct
my C5 arrived here the same week it came off the line. I think
it was off the line Monday and here Thursday or Friday.
