Default Suggestions / Thoughts?

I will be picking up an '08 next month from NCM and will be driving my VY C6 vert back to Maryland. I am concerned with two things: 1) rocks / paint damage and 2) front license plate.

Can anyone recommend a particular bra / nose mask and whether I need it or not for the trip back? I was looking at those available on the NCM web site (see link). I am not planning on keeping it on upon my return to Maryland. http://store.corvettemuseum.com/detail.aspx?ID=977). (This is for a 2006, however)

Relating to item two, will the NCM require me to install the front license plate when I pick the car up? I will have temporary tags. I am just not sure how this will transpire.

Thank you!

P.S. I have now requested specific assistance on a several occasions. I hope that once I have my vet (this will be my first) and gain some experience that I can start contributing to newbies like myself.

I recommend having ClearBra installed before you leave Bowling Green.

I've never heard of a Front Temporary tag, so that shoudn't be a worry.
On Bras, there are many types and styles. I just picked up a new GM version for $60 from a forum member. It will be used on future road trips. My 900 mile delivery trip last weekend from NH to NC resulted in nary a scratch.....

Thanks mpuzach. Can I have this installed at the NCM (or where)? Is it easily removable?

Here's a link to their web site.

klik

You can use it to identify the licensed (and trained) installers in the Bowling Green area. I suggest contacting 2 or 3 of them and setting up an installation. It's very likely that you'll find one who will come to the museum and do the installation right there; otherwise you could easily drive to their shop. My wife and I have ClearBra on all 3 of our cars (including my Corvette). I also had it on my previous 2 cars; I'll never buy another car without having it immediately installed.

It's easily removed and replaced (by a competent installer) in the event the film gets damaged.
