Default Vert Windscreen ????

as mentioned in previous posts, my wife who hates my non family car does not like the wind blowing her hair over her face. how much of a difference does the wind screen make on the verts? Temp? any info is appreciated. Oh yeah if she bitches once more she doesnt get to ride for 2 months and her replacement (blond, 36d, 19-23 years old) gets to take her place.

None of the windscreens will be enough to satisfy her. I've had both (GM and VetteNet and while they do make a marginal difference at city street speeds ~45mph, at freeway speeds 70+ mph the difference is negligible to nonexistant.

Can you say, "Doo Rag"? That's more likely your answer to keep the hair out of her face.

A tip that will work some is to raise the windows on both doors about 2.5" to 3". It looks a little goofy, but makes a big difference in the air flow in the passenger compartment.

To hell with the window trick!

I'd go for the 21 year old blond!

I have a Vet Net ... Strongly recommend it... Also you can raise the windows and create a little cocoon which will cut down on turbulence and wind noise so you can enjoy music and have a conversation without shouting!

Win-Win.

I have the Vette Net, which is lower profile than the GM version. GM mounting brackets are more user-friendly ... permanent v remove/replace each time. And the higher profile of the GM model cuts down the cockpit turbulence more. But I'm happier with the look of the Vette Net.

Seem's that opinion's of the windscreens are like exhaust systems, everyone's opinion is different. I like my GM one. More important, my wife likes it. It cuts about 50% of the turbulence out. Her hair will still blow around, just not as severe.

Mine works just fine as well.....also a GM accessory.

If my wife complains, as she usually does, at least this reduces the turbulence and complaints.

Wives have several important functions - bitchin' is near the top of the list. They are like sailors, as long as they are complaining, they are happy. Time to worry is when they stop
