A/h Message
Has anyone seen a "active handling initializing" message upon startup. I've seen it only a couple of times and I believe that's what it said. Goes off with no problem. I've never touched the traction control button and it's always on .

Thanks.
It's only come up a couple of times like I said, and it just made me wonder if all of the rest of the time, it's been
off , to some degree. But I guess I would have noticed that, big time!

I've read here numerous times that it's normal but in 15000 miles and over two years I have not seen it on mine.

I have never seen this message either, and I have almost 38,000 miles on the beast.

Guess I'm the lucky one. As long as it's ok, just another weird thing!

The only time I have seen it on my '06 (and my '04) was when I was turning a corner on a culdesac after it had rained.

I have not seen it with my C6 but I did see it occasionally with my C5. It occured when I drove the car, shut it down then restarted while it was still warm.

I haven't seen it on mine, but the owners manual talks about it.

Seems that the message was not the word "initializing" after all.
When I went to the manual to check the description of all messages, "calibrating" is the one that appeared. And it explains what it means, of course.
Thanks all, for your help.
