Is One Offset The Same As Another Offset?
Is one wheel mfg's offset the same as another mfg. In other words, is CCW's offsets the same as , say for example, Factory Reproductions Motorsports C6 Z06 offsets? F.R. offsets are now correct for the larger width wheels (i.e. 9.5" and 11"). I've been big on the F.R. for a while, however, the CCW's are starting to look like a possibility, albeit more $$$. The F.R. also have the correct offsets now for their Motorsports.
I've noticed that the CCW's wheels (18's and 19's) for the C6 can accomodate wider tires, while still being tucked correctly into the fender. Haven't got the offset info on them (505A, etc.) but probably +57 for the 10 x 18's and +79 for the 11 x 19's.
I would assume that the offsets from both mfgs. use the same method, but just curious.
