If anyone needs anything made, I own a small machine/fabrication shop. I am going to make a new set of jacking pucks, if someone has a nice setup, that they could give me exact dimensions, I could maybe send a free set to. I even have a small blast furnace, I could set up a sand mold and pour them easily. Casting is not just for fishing

I have in the shop right next to my house an industrial ram style turret lathe, CNC mill, 10 ft 125 ton break, mig, tig, plasma cutter, turret punch coming. If anyone has any cool items they would like made, or any ideas for a new project, I need the practise and so do my guys.

Most of what we do is recreational, boat lifts, snowmobile decks and tunnels, etc. I have custom made 'water' tanks that some guys like to put in the back of their trucks and carry diesel in them, checkerplate aluminum makes a wonderful tank.

I know I am not a sponsored dealer, but I am not looking to make money off anything. This is a brand new shop, and I like projects. I am also into back scratching, so if there is anything that can be traded, I am heavily into the barter system.

If things get going, and orders start coming in, I will donate to the site.

I am going to make my own 4 post lift shortly, there is no access to any locally.

Looks like I may have a CAD drawing on the way, so pucks should be available shortly. What would you guys think about tapering the leading edge so there is no chance of them catching a bump?

 

Nahhhh....I'm all for removing them because if they do wiggle free, they're going up the side of your door and there's some damage waiting to happen. Plus, nobody can hold you liable. Keep them even.
