Got mine from the dealer...FREE. Actually I got some for my truck and it was free. Two weeks later I got a chip on the hood of the Vette and went back fully expecting to pay for the crystal red metallic. Nope. Also FREE. They did have to order it, but it was actually mailed to my house. So, even better.
Tried that site but when I looked up LMB for an 05 Vette, it wasn't listed..they showed Luxo Blue Mettalic?
That's what its called in the factory... If the code is 19U(Chevy 19), its the same as LMB! I bought some along with primer and clear coat aerosols to do my door handles/ license plate frame.
Try this place . . .I got a spray can, small bottle and touch up "pen" of Precision Red and it matched really well - - -
I'm not so sure I'd be as quick to recommend that website.
I didn't have the same luck you did.
I purchased touchup paint from them for my AO with tintcoat.
The paint bottle that they sent me wasn't even close to the actual color.
I sent them a photo to show them how bad it was.
They tried again & the second bottle was just as bad.
They refunded my money.
I ended up going to the dealer.
The dealer orders the paint directly from the factory & matches the it to your VIN.
The dealer provided an excellent match & the price was less than I spent online.

how much paint would i need to paint my calipers? and should I paint them the same color as the car (montary red)?
I think monty red would look great...an automotive paint dealer can mix you up a quart which would be more than enough. Thats usually the smallest amount anyone will mix...
A dealer charged 19.95 for the VY stick but my Caddy dealer parts dept sent me to their body shop 2 years ago and since they paint a lot of platinum silver cars, the young lady filled a bottle and gave it to me.
