Default [Pictures] Crystal Red -vs- Monterey Red @ Kerbeck!

OK everyone, here's the comparison pics you've been looking for!

Here's some pics of the new Crystal Red with a black top and Comp Gray wheels that was ordered by a forum member.

And a shot of the two new editions to the Corvette family!

So, what do you all think?

CR and MR seem like nice conservative colors.

I like the CR better as its a tad brighter.

I personally favor the brighter JSB, AO, VY, and VR's but that's just my opinion.

Great pics, Dave.

In the top 3 photos, Monterey Red is obviously on the left.

I prefer Monterey Red and LeMans Blue.

I personally like the Mont Red better but the new red is close....sure reminds me of an 02 hubby drove that was called mag red....looks the same to me.

Thanks for showing them side by side, big help for a lot of folks trying to decide which they like better....

Default Comp Gray wheels car

That forum member would be me! Thanks Dave. As I said to Dave, that pic, the combo of red, black top and comp gray wheels almost has me rethinking aftermarket wheels !

Dave

You really rock! If I were to buy another Vette, I would go the extra mile or thousand, and buy from you. Amazing how much info you provide here!

Dave, thanks for the pictures. I still prefer the Monterey Red, but the CR isn't bad at all. I own the Monterey Red, so I'm partial.

I'm hoping to get a trade-in or a service customer with a C6 in Mag Red so that I can post a picture of all three!

Dave, You know what I think. W e should be looking at side by sides of the old AO and the second coming of the new DSOM. But if that was the case the DSOM would have left with me last week.

Dave;

Great job and a good service to this forum.

It really seemd that GM is getting away from those deep rich colors.

I think the new blue and red are too flat.

I am going to purchase a 2009 next summer. I will be stpoing by to see you then.

Thanks again.

I like my Mag RED best but the Monterey red would be my next choice.

You need to see these colors in person. Pictures don't do them complete justice and they are definetly not "flat" in person, but I can see how the pictures make it seem that way.

It looks like these photos were taken on a pretty overcast day. Notice the shadows are very indistinct. With more sunshine both the MR and CR would look much better.

I think...you need to post new pictures once the sun comes out.

Neither color is showing it's full potential.

I like the Yellow behind the glass with the Black accent stripes on the hood. Is that a new C6 or used?

Good eye! That's an 08 Z06. We're doing a photo shoot this week for this year's Carlisle poster and we striped up a few cars for the background. You should see the Jetstream Blue with the white stripes!
